Roy is the best guide you could ask for! Fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. Plus, he is super fluent in English. We loved the tour with him and learned so much about the Temple of Heaven, as well as fun facts about Chinese culture. He answered all our curiosities, and after the tour, he shared some extra materials with us. We can’t recommend him enough!

Roy was very knowledgeable and you can tell he cares about this area and the city. He answered all of my questions very well too. We had a small tour but it was still great! I do wish we would have visited some of the smaller hutongs that were more off of the main roads, but overall the tour was great and I learned a lot!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Roy was informative and gave a great insight into Beijing’s history and culture. We were able to explore areas of Beijing we otherwise wouldn’t have known about. The pace of the tour was perfect, spending just the right amount of time in each place.

I had a great tour of the Summer Palace with Roy, where I learnt a lot about the history of the place. As other guests cancelled at the last minute, I also had the luxury of a private tour. Roy was a very pleasant tour guide and dialogue partner. I would book this tour all over again and can well imagine visiting other sights in Beijing with Roy.
