Hi, my name is Haktan. I am a licenced tour guide who is in love with Istanbul!
I traveled to 30+ countries joining free walking tours whenever I had a chance and collecting the good practices of other guides. I studied in the USA and taught at different universities so I know how to keep people's attention when I tell the incredible stories of this amazing city.
If you read the reviews about my tours you'll see the word "funny" in almost every review. I don't want to brag about humour but let me tell you this much I once made a group of Polish people laugh 😎.

I strongly recommend this tour. I enjoyed the places we visited and the way Haktan explained us about the history behind. Very entertainment and prepared for a free walking tour. I really enjoyed it!
Haktan is such a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. We were kept interested and engaged for 3 hours without ever switching off... Haktan s sense of humour also helped, we did have a good laugh a few times. Plenty of recommendations for visitors to continue on their visit of this beautiful place.

Second tour I’ve done with Haktan, he is very funny and you will have a great time. The Asian side of Istanbul was even better than the European side, less crowded and cheaper, definitely recommend it !
