The food tour in Istanbul had its ups and downs. Our guide was constantly in a hurry, turning it into a rushed experience. The group frequently separated, as the guide seemed oblivious to our cohesion. Moreover, some of the stations the guide wanted to show us were closed, hindering the authenticity of the food experience. Despite these flaws, it was still enjoyable to sample local cuisine. However, the rush and closed restaurants left us feeling disappointed. Consider other options for a more relaxed and authentic food journey.
