First of all we really enjoyed the tour. Charlotte entertained us well and we had a good time with her. The only thing we wished for were a bit more informations on the buildings and the Buda Castle.
Apart from the cold inclement weather on the day, the tour was professional and enjoyable for those who wanted to know the buildings in the Buda castle area, plus a succinct simplified history synopsis of the Hungarian nation. There was an excellent turnout, coping with the rain, the stairs and the construction site ambiance as the government continues to renovate and refresh the historic buildings in the precinct
It was enjoyable spending a couple of hours touring through Buda with Emmy.
Great tour to learn the history of the Castle District. Lots of construction in the area. Remember the tour only visits the outside of the places listed. You will need to return to buy tickets forSt. Matthias and The Fisherman’s Bastion.
