my name is Jan, I am licensed Austria Guide and I like to show visitors some of the most attractive historical spots of Vienna!
As I believe in „you only see what you know“, let's walk and look together at some beautiful places and talk about their history and their celebrities.
The Habsburgs have been key players in Europe for 650 years and this you can still see and feel in Vienna.

I very much enjoyed the tour through the city center of Vienna with Jan. Jan is very knowledgeable. He is able to sketch a clear overview of the history of Vienna and the Habsburgers, and he has the detailed facts ready. He seems to know all the important architects of the city palaces and the sculptors of artworks throughout the city. I found this really impressive. Also, the tour was very gemütlich. It is pleasant to listen to Jan and he is friendly.

Jan was such a lovely and knowledgeable guide! I thoroughly enjoyed the walk with him. He intentionally keeps the groups small, and walking past all the other large free walking groups, I felt like I was on an intimate private tour (it was just me and a family of 4). Jan's knowledge and passion for Vienna and its history shines through, he shared a lot of interesting facts and tailored the content also according to the interests of the group.
