When you book a tour with Joan, you (1) see the beauty of Arequipa, (2) get some context and historical (fun) facts about the city, and (3) get happy feelings because Joan is a great and funny storyteller. Thank you Joan!

The tour was overall fine but in my opinion, lacked some structure to have a clear image of the history and evolution of Arequipa from Inca time to nowadays.
We got to see some really nice views but the historical side of the tour was lacking a bit for me.
It was the 3rd tour of the day for our guide and he didn't have time to eat before so I can understand that the conditions were not the best for him to give the perfect tour.

Very good start to explore Arequipa. With a lot of recommendations for further activities in the next days. We learned a lot about the history and the culture of Arequipa.

It was an interesting tour if you want to hear only one side of the history of the area. Guide was very focused on his ancestors and how they were the better peoples.

I tried different freetour that was bad because couldn't understand the English of
the guide. This tour was really great and the guide very good and had good English too. There were tastes also! I would leave out the Alpaka place, most of the travelers were already few weeks in Arequipa and knew all about it - in my opinion. Very recommended!

Juan is a very kind and knowledgeable guide. He took great care of us and the stop for having a chicha was refreshing. We learned a lot about Arequipa and its surrounding volcanoes. Thank you Juan!
