Sono guida turistica autorizzata, faccio free walking tour da sette anni, sono nata e cresciuta a Venezia. In questo periodo ho incontrato persone di diverse culture e ho avuto la possibilità di condividere alcuni dei luoghi più belli di Venezia e molti dei suoi segreti nascosti. Mi è piaciuta così tanto l'esperienza che ho guadagnato oltre 250 recensioni a 5 stelle su TripAdvisor per i miei tour a Venezia.
Francesco was not the one that provided the tour, he was instead replaced by Marc. Marc did a good job and provided interesting information.
This tour explores some of the lesser-known sights of Venice. The church was very cool. Other stops were hit and miss. This is definitely different from every other tour in the city.
Excellent tour. It will be much better if we could understand his English better.
5 stars! Francesco was ill so Mark stood in for him. Mark was there when I arrived at 3:15 and he began the tour at 3:35. Although Mark is an American, this did not affect his ability to show us the "real" Venice one bit. I could feel the love he had for this city and that made me connect deeper to Venice since I'm also a foreigner myself. He cracked a lot of jokes but also shared a lot of proper information from a local's perspective (e.g. random questions from the group on boat ownership in the lagoon, emergency services on the island, who the masons are...). A very charming introduction to Venice and I will remember Sideways Bridge the next time I cross one lol.
