Andrew was a lovely scottish lad who talked about the history of the town mixed with his own personal experience in a really engaging way.
He was funny and interesting and really worked hard to make sure everyone on the trip could take away a nugget of information. It was a brilliant tour and I would highly recommend him.

Henrik was engaging and fun. Good knowledge and happy to answer questions. Good selection of sights, despite the sleet. Took us into buildings to thaw out. Would recommend.

It was a cold day in Reykjavik however the sun was out and this was a perfect way for us to start our 5 days in Iceland. Martin was lovely and clearly loved Reykjavik and we got a great history of Iceland while orienting ourselves in this lovely city.
I would highly recommend this tour and recommend you do it at the start of your stay to give you a great start.

My partner and I went on the GuruWalk Free walking tour of Reykjavik in January 2024. Our tour guide Marteinn was friendly, knowledgeable, and hilarious - providing us with real insights into the history of and current life in Iceland, and sharing his own personal experiences with us. We saw plenty of great landmarks on the walking route and throughout the tour he was always on hand to answer any questions that the group had. At the end of the tour he also stuck around to provide recommendations for food, drink, travel, and generally chat to members of the group. All in all a great guy and a real credit to GuruWalk!
