Tour description

My tour has on the map as a form of "G" and will start at the Grand Place, just in front of the restaurant "Le Roi d´ Espagne" where I will explain the architectural wonders of this square and the love-hate of flamingos to the Spanish from a few centuries ago. It will be a trip through the most interesting Belgian history !! Then, on the way to the obligatory stop of the famous Manneke-Pis, we will pass by the Beer Museum and the Hôtel Amigo, explaining each site. Once we reach the "meon boy", we can contemplate the fountain with a good Belgian waffle in the hands (since it is the waffle street) while I comment on the story of this famous character! In addition, right on the terrace of the bar next door, the "Poechenellekelder", we can savor the best typical Belgian beers with, if time permits, a view of this iconic figure. And inside this bar, we can see more about this character on the walls of the bar, dodging instruments and strange gadgets hanging from the ceiling, we find comics and photos of the history of Brussels. If we are still hungry, at our next point, the great Bourse (Brussels Stock Exchange), we can acquire the best frittes from the center of Brussels at the famous place "Fritland". So while I teach how important this building can taste this typical Belgian dish! Following the road to the famous street of De Brouckère and passing through the luxurious restaurant "Drug Opera", we will find the theater of "La Monnaie" ("De Munt" in flamenco), which is a must stop for the music lovers! On the way to the great Cathedral of Sts Michel and Gudule, we will pass by the famous bar "Delirium", where we will find out his Record Winners and find the famous Jeanneke-Pis ("the meona girl"). In the magnificent Cathedral of Brussels I can explain that religious Belgium, also talking about Art and its mixtures. We will finish this great tour in the "Mont des Arts", but on the way to this final point, we will pass through the square of Spain in Brussels where we will find our beloved Don Quixote and his faithful squire Sancho Panza saluting the Grand Place tour. We will also see the Gare Central (Central Train Station) to know where it is and thus know discounts and offers to travel to other magnificent Belgian cities. Finally, as I said before, there is no better way than to do it with the wonderful views of Mont des Arts, where we will enjoy a wonderful garden and some steps to sit and relax after this intense walk. There I will also teach part of the Royal Palace, explain when and how to go to the museums of Fine Arts and Musical Instruments (it is the second largest in Europe) and indicate how to go to the Palace of Justice and the magnificent views of the city on the Place Poelaert.
