I am Michael Shen, and I was born in Shanghai where I finished my college, but I grew up in Hangzhou. My major is in public management and I have learned English as my 2nd language. Traveling is my favorite thing, and I have already visited up to 65 countries, 400 cities and many attractions, so this experience has let me known what the travelers need and how to help them, while exchanging and sharing traveling ideas with them about transportation, accommodation, food, local culture and history etc. This is my main purpose to be a Guru, I think. You will enjoy the landscape of Westlake walking along the Bai Causeway, the Royal Palace's archaeological discovery, you will listen to legends and fairly stories, and you will experience typical and local Chinese history, culture, art, architecture and much more. All of these will give you the answer of why Hangzhou is the "heaven of the earth".
The tour starts from the place of former Buddha Temple and Lakeview pavilion, then we will hike along Bai Causeway and enter the Moonview place. During the tour, we will visit some interesting and historic places, including museums, the Temporary Royal Palace and the Library. The tour will be finish at Yue Temple or Zhejiang Museum.
