Although I have grown up in Arusha, I have been exposed to other regions including Kilimanjaro, Dar es salaam, Manyara and Mwanza. Tour description

Arusha is a small town nestled in the shadow of Mount Meru, with commanding views of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro. Arusha tends to be visited more by tourists as it is the gateway to the northern safari circuit to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Arusha National Park, and it is likely to be the start of your adventure to the famous parks of northern Tanzania.

Take your time to discover the beauty of Arusha city from the Clock tower. We will visit the Maasai Market, Arusha Declaration monument and museum, the central market to learn about different African spices, vegetable and fruits and Arusha City bus terminal. We will also drive to the Cultural Heritage Centre to do some shopping. After enjoying different sited of Arusha city we will walk/drive back to your hotel.

    Clock Tower Post Office

    The clock tower was built by Galanos, a Greek millionaire who came to Tanganyika in the early years of the 20th century. It is believed that the Arusha Clock Tower is located exactly between Cairo and Cape Town and is considered the center point of the three countries of Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. It is the meeting point for both locals and tourists.

Die Tour war tatsächlich eine Enttäuschung. Es waren 2 guides die durch die Stadt gerast sind und nichts erkältet haben, schade. Das einzig gute war, dass sie flexibel mit dem Treffpunkt waren, da wir die einzigen Tour Teilnehmer waren…
