I am an architect, native and I am in love with Quito, its architecture and its history. For that reason I studied about its legends, its special places, our typical food. Do you want to try our typical dishes and live a gastronomic experience with a gastronomy expert? We will take you to the most typical market in Quito, where you can enjoy exquisite gastronomy, exotic fruit juices and desserts that will make you want to order another one. Your guide is a gastronomic expert, chef in the city of Quito, who knows Quito gastronomy, vegetables and fruits typical of Ecuador. We will meet in Plaza de San Blas, where it started to be the first market and we will go down to the market. Let us know if you have any food allergies or bans to be aware of you. Our weather is unpredictable and on the road it can rain, so I suggest you bring a cap and umbrella (Quito's sun is strong too), comfortable shoes and a bag where you can leave things safe (do not display valuables) , bring money to buy inside the market and hunger.!

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
