Tour description

The Entebbe Botanical Gardens is a great way to experience the greenery and beauty of Uganda. The botanical gardens are found in Entebbe a few minutes’ drive from the Airport and 40 km from Kampala and they are open 7 days a week from 9am- 7pm. Our Local female guide(s) will meet and greet you at tour meeting point in kampala or the guide finds you in entenbe,brief you about the day’s activities and thereafter transfer you to Uganda Wildlife Education centre where you will view animals in cages like the Rhinos, lions and many more.(Optional) Explore botanical gardens for a thrilling encounter with various plant,trees,bird species,primates,giant spiders and lots of other creatures and bugs that move on the floor and in the tree canopy. This garden is endowed with a variety of lovely butterflies – quite a collection of colours and pattern here. You will have a stroll at the lake Victoria shore very refreshing and magnificent place to sit, relax and ponder.Have lunch at either at a hotel of your choice and then drive back to Kampala or your hotel and this will mark your day’s trip to Entebbe botanical gardens.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).

Wow,Kim and i had never experienced a behind the scene tour like we did in Entebbe rubbing shoulders with the elephants,kissing and feeding the giraffe-i must admit i was nervous at first but enjoyed the whole experience not forgetting learning the culture of the rare shoe-bill stork's Rosette and hanna
