Hi everyone! Though my name is Iraudis, people like to call me Iris. I am from Cuba. I've been living here in the beautiful city of Barcelona for 4 years. Barcelona is a magical city and I would like you to discover it with me. I love traveling and learn about other cultures and history. That's why I am a tour guide during my free time. I've had the possibility of traveling a lot, also on board of cruise ships and I've been in touch with people of different cultures. I consider myself open-minded, adventurous and respectful. I also like to read, listen to nice music and of course "dancing salsa" as a good Cuban girl. I hope to hear from you soon.
What will you discover? The most entertaining visit of the city! Our meeting point will be Plaza Catalunya and from there we will move towards Las Ramblas, a picturesque and full of life boulevard, that joins Plaza Catalunya with the Columbus monument that is located in the Port of Barcelona. We will pass by the Boqueria Market, the oldest and most famous market in this city, which has more than 200 stalls where you can buy handicrafts of all kinds. You will see there bars and restaurants where both residents and tourists enjoy of a colorful and full of flavors atmosphere. We will pass through the Gothic Quarter, the basilica of Santa María del Pi, the Cathedral and then reaching the street of Bisbe, we will see the Generalitat and the City Hall of Barcelona. Walking down Montcada street we arrive at the Picasso Museum. In Born, there are many places where you can do all kinds of shopping. Paseo del Born will take us to the Ciutadella Park which was the first public park in Barcelona. Our tour ends at the Maremagnum, a busy leisure site where if you have time you can enjoy other activities and places like The Aquarium of Barcelona. I hope to hear from you very soon!
In the center of Plaza Catalunya, close the fountain. I'll be waering a green blouse.
