Hi! I have guided tours in Riga and around Latvia for the last 6 years. I also run my English language bookshop called Robert's Books, which brings me in contact with the guests of Riga. Guiding tours in Latvia and Riga is my passion, I'm a fan of my city and I love to share it with guests.
NB! Because of Covid19 situation in Europe, we have decided to run the tour only on days, when there are registered participants. Register at least 4h before the tour!
This free walking tour will be the perfect introduction to Riga, it will be very enjoyable and informative. The tour is guided in English by locals, and all of our tour leaders are certificated guides and enthusiasts of Riga.
The tour covers Riga's Art Nouveau district, boulevard circle, park lane and a part of Riga Old Town.
Riga Culture Free Tour is usually run is small groups, as the majority of visitors of Riga don't dare to explore the city outside the Old Town walls. We encourage you to explore Riga with our guides and see the new Riga of 20th century.
In front of the Rainis monument, look for the guide with the license on him. During summer, look for the guide with a board with Culture Free Tour logo on it.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
