I have been living in Camden for a year and a half now. The first 6 months I was there I kept walking from Camden Town to the primrose hill through the canal (which is part of the tour) whatever the weather. I just loved it. I loved going back to all of these places around Camden because of all the history. For many years it hasn’t changed a lot. As I am absolutely passionate about music, I still can’t believe it when I walk around all these places where all these famous British bands/artists have been/lived, from The Clash, Blur, Madness to Amy Winehouse ... the list is endless. Every time I have friends or relatives coming to London I can’t wait to give them a tour of Camden and the area, explain to them everything that happened everywhere. I love discovering new things and sharing these things with other people. I love meeting new people and being able to interact and exchange during tours is the most important thing to me!
Although Camden has become a very touristic area of London through the years, it still remains one of the most relevant artistic quartets of London! So many artists have started there, kept working/rehearsing around and managed to keep the area as brilliant as it is today!
I will be happy to recommend any pubs, restaurants, shops, music venues or even walks and other places to check out while you’re around London!
If you are a music lover, this tour is for you, this what most of the tour is based on, Camden’s musical history!
