Mohammed is my name, but you can call me Simo, I am a full time Microsoft (Xbox) support. I have been a tour guide with the Moroccan exchange program and I like your tours in Rabat, I like to be surrounded by optimistic people and I avoid negativity. Rabat is the place I call home but I live in Sale (20 minutes away) Rabat is a multicultural city that has more than one place to visit, there is an Oudaya garden, the beach, the souk, the Hassan tower, the old Medina and much more to offer. I've been touring since 2009 and I love doing it. I have worked as a cabin crew with Flydubai, British Council as a teaching center assistant and as a translator for a football (Soccer) agent, and I'm good at football if you want to play hahaha

Tour description

Rabat is one of the most famous cities in Africa and the capital of Morocco. I would like to take you on a journey where the beauty of the old medina is combined with the surprising modernity of the new buildings showcasing the unmissable views and landscapes that you must see for yourself. A safe and fun ride can be achieved through communication and shared thoughts. You can choose when the tour starts and when it should end. Please share your thoughts freely and help me make this tour not only informative, but also a fun and memorable experience. To find out how it works, book a tour and choose the time that suits you best, I am open to all your suggestions, opinions and ideas. I can help you to get a lift from the airport or anywhere to Rabat or vice versa. I can also help you on your trip if you plan to travel to Morocco by giving you advice or traveling with you (all expenses must be covered by you). I can show you Chefchaouen, Marrakech, Tangier, Casablanca, Agadir...etc. And it's your tour after all. So feel free to style it however you want and I'm here to make it safe and informative. My tours are not so formal, we go out as friends and at the end of the tour you can tip as much as you want. The meeting point is "Medina Rabat" tram station or you can just send me your location and we can meet you there. PS: some travelers just booked without confirming their tour and ended up there without finding anyone. Please confirm your tour with a message so we can discuss the details and make sure we meet on time. Also, time is very flexible

We had a magnificent experience with Simo. He accepted the tour for us, hiring him with very little time and it was magnificent. he helped us at all times to move around rabat.

Mohammed was very nice and helpful. He answered all our questions and walked with us through different parts of the city. However there was not a lot of background information in the tour, it was more of just walking through the city. This tour is for people that are looking to find their way around the city and not for someone looking to get historical or architectural information about Rabat.

I have already reviewed but will happily tell you again what I think. Our “Guru” didn’t turn up. He emailed me claiming that I hadn’t verified the tour. I had, and have proof. He claimed that he turned up and we didn’t. Not true. Guru Walking Tours have been in touch with me and made apologies. Our “Guru” hasn’t apologised. On this basis I don’t recommend these tours.
