My name is Gemma and I am 24 years old. I am from Madrid and I am a biologist. Since I was little my passions are tourism, photography and my hometown. My family has given me the love to visit new places and learn from other cultures. History is another of the loves of my life, since I think we have to know where we came from to know where we are going. I love to share my passions with other people and for that reason, I believe that this experience will be very enriching for you and, especially for me.
The visit will begin in the heart of Madrid and Spain, Puerta del Sol. We will continue in the Plaza Mayor, a beautiful architectural work dating from the sixteenth century. We will feel the Arab footprint visiting the wall, and we discover Madrid de los Austrias, with such emblematic places as Plaza de la Villa. We will discover various architectural styles admiring the Almudena cathedral and, next to it, we will find the Royal Palace of Madrid, with its beautiful Sabatini gardens, where we can meet the most illustrious kings and queens in the history of Spain thanks to the statues that they rest in the gardens. Finally we will discover the Plaza de Oriente, which will open the way to one of the most central streets of Madrid. I look forward to you!
