Hello friends, my name is Gabriel, I am originally from Mexico City and I've been a Tour Guide 16 years , I am a certified Federal guide which allows me to do tours not only in Mexico City, but throughout the country . I am currently taking a course for accreditation and training as a Chronicler and Oral Narrator (storyteller). I have explored countless places of cultural and historical interest that have helped me to share in the cultural tours that I take through the interior of the country. I fall in love with the majesty of nature and its infinite strength, reflected in everything and in every place: in the jungle, in the mountains, in the plains, in the desert, in the forest or on the coast ... My passion is travel roads and trails, and share travel stories and anecdotes with other travelers!
This tour will give you the opportunity to know and understand the City from a completely different perspective! The experience will be like unfolding a magical book of anecdotes and stories from yesterday and today, and revealing its secrets with characters from different times. I will also give you recommendations for you to enjoy another treasure of Mexican culture which is its gastronomy! In this tour we will visit the oldest and most historical part of Mexico City, its emblematic and world famous Historic Center. This is where some of the most representative buildings and monuments in the entire Mexican territory are located! What we will see along our route: Monument to Benito Juárez (Hemiciclo a Juarez) Parque de La Alameda (oldest public park in the Americas) The Palace of Fine Arts Postal Palace Casa de Los Azulejos Church of San Francisco (first convent de America) Iturbide Palace Plaza del Zocalo National Palace Metropolitan Cathedral Templo Mayor
I will be right in front of the Benito Juárez monument also called El Hemiciclo a Juárez, I will wear a red shirt and I will be holding a red umbrella
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
