Walking Poland Group was founded 2012 in Warsaw by Antoni and Patrycja, both licensed tour guides. Since then, we grew and today we operate in all the biggest cities in Poland: Warsaw, Cracow, Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań. We offer free and private or public tours. All of them are carried out by passionate local tour guides. Our mission is to create a new way of showing around: we call it Guiding 2.0. Apart from presenting the history in a professional and impartial way, we also want to entertain. Numbers and names are important, yes, but we also want our guests to remember us going back home so our professionally trained guides will do their best to create for you unforgettable memories.

About the tour

The beginning of the tour is already a highlight. We meet on the Castle Square, one of the most beautiful places in Warsaw, from where you can admire the colourful fassades of the Old Town. What will you discover? The King’s Castle inner courtyard, romantic alleys of the Old Town, the medieval Market Square, the town walls, the Barbacan and the garbage hill, which today is a panorama platform, from which you can see the river Vistula and the other side of the city. This tour is not a history lecture, but a whole overview about history, lifestyle and the character of the inhabitants of Warsaw. The guide will provide a lot of useful tips for your trip and present plenty of interesting information, which you will never find in travel books.

The tour ends at the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising reminding very important part of the history.

Enjoy a completely different view on the city and discover it together with a local, who spends here his every day life.

We visited Warsaw with some friends. Our guide was Antoni, who speaks really good English and is a German native-speaker. The walking tour with him was funny and entertaining. At the same time he gave us a lot of interesting information. Two hours is an ideal length. Thank you Antoni :)
