(*) THE ART OF GUIDING PROFESSIONALISM, EXPERIENCE, EXCELLENCE AND HISTORICAL RIGOR. Bilbao Free Tour Experience is a project that was born as a response to the crisis caused in the tourism sector by the pandemic as a result of the collaboration of several professionals. Their team is not made up of amateurs or students, but rather PROFESSIONAL TOUR GUIDES, the first to bring the free tour model (reverse box office / free donation) to Bilbao, a once-exclusive service. Our work environment covers the entire Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. Diplomas in Tourism and Bachelors in Art History, we are dedicated to disseminating the artistic, cultural and natural heritage of the entire territory and its network of most important public and private museums such as the Guggenheim Museum or the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. We have extensive experience of 20 years in the field of tourism receiving public from more than 80 countries. We offer tours in Spanish, English, Basque, Italian and German. The last three in payment mode. Our tours are characterized by the depth of their information, they are exhaustive, well documented from a historical and cultural point of view and are aimed at an intellectually demanding public. Through our work we propose a series of initiatives for the care of the city, promoting the interaction of tourists with commerce and local culture. Tour description

(*)(**) The best tour of the historic center of Bilbao, the most exhaustive, with the best content and the longest route. So you don't miss anything.

Because in addition to professionals we are neighbors. Because you are going to eat more than one pintxo, but you are probably only going to do a tour and you have to choose well. And because, trust, nobody is going to tell you like us.

If you are an intellectually demanding person this is your tour.

At the end of the tour you can leave satisfied with the peace of mind of having seen everything of interest that this part of the city has to offer.

Brief description of the tour:

For more than 500 years Bilbao was limited to the area that today we call Casco Viejo - Zazpikaleak (7 streets) . It is in this small meander on the right bank of the Ría that the town prospered until it became one of the most important river ports in the European Atlantic arc. It is in the second half of the 19th century, in full industrial development, when the definitive jump to the left bank takes place.

We will tell you about its history, its urban development, we will interpret its architecture and heritage for you and we will get closer to the life of some of the historical figures that inhabited its streets. And of course some anecdotes and curiosities that you cannot miss.

We did the tour with Marina and it was AMAZING! From the moment we met with the group until the end, the atmosphere was very friendly and we very much enjoyed the fact that the group wasn't too big (total of 10)! Marina explained a lot of different things, and all the time we had the feeling it was a friend talking to us :) We would always take another tour with her!
