I am an official guide of Andalusia. I was not born in Cadiz, but I have lived here for 25 years and I love this city and its people. That is why for me it is just as important to tell about history and traditions as to make people feel how pleasant, welcoming and beautiful "Cadi" is. I hope you will fall in love with Cadiz the same way I fell in love with it back in the day.
We are going to spend about two hours together and visit the outside of the Cadiz city hall and the Cathedral, the market with about 50 fish stalls, go through the Moorish neighbourhood, discover why the watchtowers were so important and understand what” La Pepa “means. We don't just want to know about the history and traditions of Cadiz we'd like to find out what makes this city so special and so different from the others. Is it the local people, the sea from all sides, the wind or the smell of fish…?
