The best visit to Yalku Lagoon is a bike ride or a hike. We will visit 3 important places in Akumal. Firstly we will see some artistically sprayed murals and secondly we will visit a statue that is more than 50 years old. This statue represents the colonization of Akumal. We take advantage of the fact that this statue is right by the sea and enjoy the breeze it offers us and the landscape. Of course there is still time to take photos! Finally we will continue the journey to Yalku lagoon, a connection of cenotes with the sea (it is a mixture of fresh water and salt water from the sea). Here we will be about 2 hours to swim in the emerald green waters, snorkel and see reefs, corals, colorful fish, parrot fish and pelicans. Finally we will be on a Yalku beach. It will be a fun and memorable tour. Distance: 3 kilometers. The point where the tour ends is at the Yalki lagoon and from here we return to the first meeting point.
