Hello. I am Wael Kamouna, a freelance tour guide/Egyptologist since 2008 with 12 years' experience in the field of tourism, and a degree from Cairo University. Today will explore the religious place in Egypt- old Cairo or Coptic city. There we have a chance to see the ruins of the Roman fortress of Babylon (1st century AD) then walk to the Hanging church which is founded above the tower of Babylon fortress, then later will take a tunnel to Cavern church Abu Serga (5th century AD) under there will see the cave where the holy family where stayed over than 3 months. Then later going to Ben Ezra synagogue and know why Jews were insisted to build a synagogue at that place. After that will explore the first mosque in Egypt which is founded in 641 A.D by the First Muslim leader Amr Ibn Elas. Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
