Hello! I am Rodrigo, born and raised in the amazing city of Buenos Aires. Throughout my life I've also lived in Dublin, Ireland; Copenhagen, Denmark; different parts of Norway; Berlin, Gemany(I have a passion for good weather...) and also in Freetown, Sierra Leone. I have been a tour guide for more than 8 years and across 3 cities (Buenos Aires, Copenhagen and Berlin, always in English) and also worked in tourism in Norway and Sierra Leone. I really enjoy what I do. I studied political science and journalism, currently I am studying tourism and sustainable development and I also write. I try and mix what I’ve learned in all the places I have lived on my tours so I can tell you a story and make you feel as if you were actually watching it happen. I am enthusiastic, outgoing and love telling stories, anecdotes and sharing my knowledge of the city I live in. And I also like to have fun, so it is not all about history... ask what you want to know! Can do tours in English and Spanish, so get in touch in any of these 2 languages if you have any questions or want a tailor made tour.
Everything you need to see and know in 3 hours! On this tour we will talk and learn about the fascinating history of the German Capital. From the construction of the Brandenburg Gate to the fall of the wall. Imperial Berlin , the 1st World War , the golden 1920s, the tragedy of Nazism , the occupation of Berlin and how its division led to the construction of the wall and the city split in two. "The history of the 20th century was written with the ruins of Berlin". How and why Berlin is today one of the best cities in the world to live (and one of the most fun).
During the tour we will see:
