Hello! I'm Corinne. I'm an artist who studied painting at the Art Institute of Chicago. When I'm not in the studio, I love to show people around Chicago. We Chicagoans are spoiled walking past works of art by Picasso, Chagall, and Miró on our morning commutes, all hidden in plain sight! I love to share the backstories of these masterpieces with locals and tourists alike. I've also got insider information on the best eats in the city. ;)
From the Bean to the Picasso, learn about the lives of the artists behind Chicago's most famous public works past and present. This tour will explore the rich history of public art in Chicago as well as a peek into the contemporary art scene. By the end of this tour, you'll understand why the Second City holds a special place in the hears and imaginations of artists. On this tour we will see: -Monument with Standing Beast -"The Picasso" -Joan Miró's Chicago -Chagall's Four Seasons - Crown Fountain in Millennium Park -Cloud gate, AKA The Bean Finishing at the Art Institute of Chicago a short walk to Chicago's Navy Pier and Magnificent Mile.
