Hi, my name is Michaela and I live in Prague Czech Republic. In the past, I worked on cruise ships in the USA and after returning, I started working as a guide of Prague and Czech Republic. I have been guiding in Prague for more than 10 years now. I have Tourist Guide License for Prague and CR and the Prague Jewish Museum license as well. My hobbies are history, architecture, traveling, diving and skiing. I love Prague and I also enjoy showing people unusual local places. You will definitely not be bored on my tour. We'll talk about the history, but also about the present. I'll show you my favorite places and give you recommendations for good restaurants and shops. You'll find out what the Czechs like and what they don't.

Tour description

The best tour in the town. All highlights of Prague are included. Our tour begins on Wenceslas Square, where the Velvet Revolution took place in 1989. Then we will walk through the Lucerna passage, where you will see the most famous statue in Prague (this is a surprise), we will continue to the Old Town Square, where you can look at the Astronomical Clock and see one of the oldest parts of Prague. We will continue through Karlova Street to the Charles Bridge (the oldest bridge in Prague). Here we will see the most beautiful view of Prague and the Vltava river. While you cross the Charles Bridge, your guide will show you what to do to make your biggest wish come true. On the other side of the bridge, we'll take a picture at the John Lennon wall and we'll end our tour on the Lesser Town at the Church of St. Nicholas. The most famous spots from the tour: Wenceslas Square Old Town Square Astronomical Clock Charles Bridge John Lennon wall Lesser Town

We took a tour with Michaela some time ago. As we only had few days in Prague before traveling further we knew that this tour would give us proper overview of Prague's main sights. The tour was great, the weather was not. But we enjoyed it even while raining. Somebody here already mentioned that Michaela spoke very good English, which is true. Sometimes you get a guide that you have a hard time to understand so fortunately this wasn't the case. After the tour we returned by ourselves back to the Old Town Square and the famous clock which we liked the most. Michaela also mentioned the local artist David Cerny (hope I got his name right) and told us about some of his works - we managed to find few of them later on - the giant turning head of Kafka is absolutely brilliant. She took us through some passages and places we wouldn't probably find as we tried to stay away from the rain. She also recommended very good local restaurants! Well, even with the bad weather the tour was great and Michaela was fun!

We had a great time in Prague! My friends and I were looking for some tours here and we booked this one with Michaela. She was excellent, actually better than we hoped for! Besides the usual places you must see while in Prague she also took us to some surprising spots - that statue in Lucerna passage was really funny. The best spot was Charles Bridge for sure. And shame we could not paint on John Lennon wall anymore. Michaela was great - knowlegable and fun, and she spoke excellent English. We even heard some stories from communism era - some things were hard to believe, must´ve been tough. All in all it was a great tour - if you are in Prague, find Michaela here on Guruwalk and book in advance!
