I'm Thomas! I've been giving tours in Washington for about three years. I'm history minded but enjoy the politics and culture of the city as well. I am a recent graduate of a Master's program and am waiting to start work in the area. I love touring and generally helping out tourists in my free time, which led me to GuruWalk.
I am an experienced tour guide and I know the area well. Ideally, I like to head from somewhere around the White House to somewhere around the US Capitol, exploring Pennsylvania Avenue and sights there about. I am history minded and my tours will tend to dip more into that end of things but I am knowledgable about the area generally, and flexible on a route!

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
