We love sharing our knowledge of the city with visitors and tourists from all over the world. When we walk with travelers and we begin to tell all the stories and anecdotes that we find in each corner, it is very satisfying for us. We enjoy teaching our city to everyone and we also share experiences and learn things from each of the places on the planet as travelers end up telling us about their places of origin.

Tour description

Grazalema is one of the most touristic white towns on the Cadiz route. In addition, this municipality has two peculiarities: the first is to have the mark of being the place where it rains the most on the peninsula and the second is to have a species of tree that in large masses is only found in two natural spaces, one of them Grazalema, said tree is the pinsapo. Leaving from the Plaza de Grazalema explaining the origins of the town of Grazalema until today we go to the parking space of the asomaderos, to explain where Grazalema was, about five km from the Clavijo port, founded by Tartesos and later taken by Romans. From there we go to the entrance of the Puerta de la Villa de Grazalema, just at the beginning of the medieval road. There we explain the real foundation of Grazalema by the Arabs, the names it had, the importance of the Arab culture and others. Later we go to the path of the firs, to explain a little about our jewel in the crown that is the fir and about the Spanish fir. We will continue going up Arcos street and we will pass to the pre-industrial Grazalema and the Señorial Grazalema. We went up Fuentezula Street and commented that this is half the town and the importance it had in the time mentioned above. From there we go up to the atrium of the church of San José where the history of the rope bull festival, the Jopiches and Jopones and other festivals and traditions and other anecdotes of the town will be discussed. And finally, we finish our route at the viewpoint of the rocks to see a more panoramic view of the town and finish by explaining the gastronomy of the town.
