Tour description

After we gather at the meeting point, we will do a brief description of the hike plus a check on water and snacks, with option to buy and refill at a nearby local convenience store. We will hike from San Sebastian to Pasaia on some small rolling hills along the GR 121. This hike features a nice rolling up and down dirt / rock path and beautiful views of the coast. You are inmediately transported out of the city, where all you hear is waves ans seagulls, with spectacular views of cliffs looking down on rough rocky coves and crystal blue water on clear days. This hike is also the beggining of the coastal Camino de Santiago. Highlights of the hike are the ocean views themselves, whalespotting areas, secret smuggling spots and "flysch" rock formations amongst others. The distance is about 7.5km + 260m of accumulated elevation gain. The duration of the hike can take aorund 3 hours approximatedly. Can be muddy if it rains. We will end the hike at the pinturesque fishing town of Pasaia, where we can walk around the old town and grab a drink or buy a souvenir before we take a taxi or public transportation back to San Sebastian.
