    Ikseondong Hanok Village

One of my favorite places in Seoul. Definitely one of the busiest areas in Seoul for tourists and locals. This is an old Seoul Hanok Village converted into a modern, stylish and luxurious venue. It is one of the main three Hanok villages in Seoul. Because of its slightly hidden location its often missed by many visitors in Seoul.

This is a former Korean royal residence where at one time Emperor Gojong resided. It was formerly the residence of the Heungseon Daewongun, the father of Emperor Gojong.

We are so glad having Marko as our tour guide in Seoul, after a few days travelled in Busan & Soul communicating with the local people was very challenging, very few speak good English or their spoken English are not as clear as Marko's as he already lived in North America for many years. Thank again Marko, hope to see you again soon! Ron - from Canada.

Marko is a very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun guide. He gave us a lot of history and interesting facts, and I wish we were staying longer to re-visit some of the places he took us. We did a lot of walking, but he would take breaks. He also showed us a great place to have dinner at the end of the walk - the food was delicious!!
