Free tour of Old San Juan

Gonzalo was nice in the beginning but as time went on, his “jokes” were borderline rude. He could also tell that he offended me on a few occasions and did apologize as I stopped engaging. I was the only one in the group and brought my husband. I was grateful that Gonzalo let him come but no one else showed up. Which is why Gonzalo had to repeat MANY times and even at the end for his “tip.” That was his only focus. On one occasion, Gonzalo said “ I wasted my time” because we didn’t get his question / quiz right. I have done many guru walks over Europe and asia and would not recommend him.

A pesar de que solo éramos dos personas, Gonzalo decidió llevar a cabo el tour, demostrando un compromiso excepcional con su labor y los visitantes. We were fortunate to have Gonzalo as our guide on the free walking tour in Old San Juan. Although there were only two of us, Gonzalo decided to conduct the tour, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to his work and the visitors. His explanations were not only detailed, but also delivered with a sense of humor that made the experience much more enjoyable and engaging. Gonzalo exhibited a deep knowledge of the history and secrets of Old San Juan, which enriched our visit. Furthermore, his recommendations on where to eat and what to visit in the following days were accurate and very helpful, tailored to our interests and tastes. Really good tour, very informative on history. But tell him exactly what you want to see. Did show us a lot of local things. Not at much the main things to do in the area. Glad I went

Gonzalo is fantastic for telling us history of his country. The way he introduce us to Porto Rico helps us to understand how Porto Rico was born and we have lived a journey through time with him. Even though the weather was very hot, he gave us the best service he could. We really did appreciate this tour and recommend it to everyone who wants to know more about Porto Rico and its capital, San Juan.
