Tour description

Embark on a captivating walking tour through the cobblestone streets of Birgu, one of Malta's most authentic cities.

Explore quaint squares and hidden gems, forging a connection with Birgu's authentic charm, in an enriching journey through time and into our culture.

This experience, led by one of ours licensed guides, unfolds the layers of history within the city's medieval and Baroque architecture providing a clear understanding of the city's cultural tapestry.

Don't allow the charm of the city make you believe nothing of interest happened here:

In 1565, Birgu was the heart of the Great Siege of Malta, when Ottoman forces relentlessly attacked the city, but the Knights of St. John, aided by local defenders, valiantly repelled the invaders.

During World War II, Birgu, bore witness to intense air raids and naval attacks. As a strategic Mediterranean outpost, it faced relentless bombing by Axis forces.

We accept group bookings with more than 6 participants, against payment of a deposit of 10€ per person

You will be enjoying the tour with our official licenced guides, professionals who have  made of guiding their life, their passion and their livelihood, and to keep the tour sustainable, we recommend a minimum donation of 10€ per person.
