I can only highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Alex, took us through the comuna 13, mixing history facts, personal experiences from his childhood, and information on the symbolism behind the gorgeous graffiti’s. And we got some welcome surprises along the way, but can’t spoil that. Alex invited us to ask as many questions as we wanted and was ready to answer all of them. Go for it!

El tour con Andrés ha sido toda una experiencia.
Es un grandísimo guía con una historia muy interesante que contar y le pone mucha pasión. Es muy cercano y enseguida nos encontramos muy cómodos, realmente disfrutamos mucho el tiempo que estuvimos con él.
Gracias a Andrés hemos podido comprender los conflictos que atravesaron los habitantes de la Comuna y la realidad que hoy se vive en este lugar.
Lo que más destacaría es el amor que transmite hacia la Comuna 13, donde nació, creció y vive actualmente.
Para nosotros fue la mejor parte de nuestra visita a Medellín, sin duda alguna lo recomiendo.

I loved my tour with Jorge. As we were a small group, Josh personally tailored the tour to us and our wishes. I can only recommend the tour with Jorge, instead of taking one of the big and - because of that - a bit more impersonal tours.
