Thanks to this tour we had in a few hours a very good summary of the history of the transformation of Shanghai into the great city it is today and a lot of interesting facts from the Chinese history! In addition, he shared some personal experiences during his life in Shanghai, which made it even more interesting. Last but not least, his English level is so good (not usually the case according to our experience in China), that allowed us to exchange fluently not only on the places visited and the facts shared, but any other question we may had regarding Chinese history. We recommend this tour at 200%. We were struggling to communicate in Shanghai to better choose and try different Chinese food. Bill made of this tour a great local culinary experience that we really enjoyed! The food was great, the restaurant very interesting, some of them with a long family history, and in addition he shared with us some tips to try local food in other cities that we would visit afterwards!
