Hello - My name is Neil, I am 65 years old and have Lived and worked in Liverpool all of my life. I am a great admirer of the city, its people and its culture. I have been working as a local guide since 2012 undertaking over 200 full day tours in and around the city.

This free walking tour is the culmination of my work so far.
I have been astonished at the changes to the city landscape over the last 20 years and have witnessed the resurgence of Liverpool to become once again a global city of importance.

I often say my life my earliest memory at the age of eight was hearing the iconic roll of drums that opened the Beatles first massive hit 'She Loves You' on the radio. My love of their unique sound and melodies has never diminished since. Ever proud of our most famous sons’ Beatles fans will find Liverpool still dances to the Mersey Beat!

Neil was the best! We do walking tours in every new city and we would rank Neil in the top 2 or 3 guides we have ever had. He has a great personality, tons of knowledge and we really enjoyed the tour he put together for us. He also gave some great suggestions for areas/things to explore once the tour was done.
