Mein Name ist Thomas und ich komme aus Dänemark. Ich mache geführte Touren, weil ich nicht anders kann. Ein Guide zu sein ist kein Job, es ist ein Lebensstil. Ich bin seit 2005 an vielen Orten der Welt als Reiseleiter tätig, aber mein erstes Ziel war eigentlich Sao Miguel. Ich habe mich sofort verliebt und damals entschieden, dass ich eines Tages wieder hierher kommen werde. Seitdem mache ich free walking touren in Kopenhagen, Madrid, Hamburg, Prag und Aarhus. Aber jetzt bin ich zurück und nenne die Azoren mein Zuhause.
Should have done this tour when I arrive in Ponta Delgada… not on my last day ! Give a lot of historic infos as well as restaurants, and he speaks an English that is easy to understand for me as a French speaking guy, I recommend this tour

We really enjoyed our tour of Ponta Delgada with Thomas. He’s a great guide – informative, knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour. He did a great job of explaining the culture and history of the city and its geographical context and gave us some useful tips on places to eat and things to see. He clearly loves his adopted home and has a real enthusiasm for sharing it with others. Thanks Thomas for a great introduction to the area and for providing a useful starting point for our stay in Sao Miguel.
