David provided great information that was both detailed and very interesting. It allowed me to have a better understanding of the history and culture of Xela. He showed us spots that I don’t think I would have found on my own in the short time I was in Xela. He periodically checked on us to make sure we were ok. His voice was a little low (for me), I had to lean in to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the tour and I’m glad I booked it! I left the tour feeling positive.

David offered the tour even tho it was just me. The information were super nice. He told me a lot about life in Guatemala and the mayan traditions. David can answer all of your questions!

David gave us a great tour of centro into areas that we had previously walked right past without noticing! I liked his storytelling and he was very knowledgeable about the city. He also had some great personal insight and stories from his family and the family of his wife. It was one of my favorite tours in Guatemala.

We had such an interesting few hours with David. He showed us a whole other side to Xela that we just wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We had a fascinating tour of the Mayan market, with plenty of time to ask questions.
I feel we understand now so much more about the history and the people of this lovely town. Fully and honestly recommend David as a guide .
