In this Esfahan free walking tour, we are going to visit some of the most important places in Safavid governmental zone. The Safavid dynasty has been one of the most powerful ruling dynasties of Persia. They ruled the country during the 16th and 17th century and established the Twelve school of Shia Islam as the official religion of the empire, marking one of the most important turning points in Muslim history led to building amazing religious monuments such as mosques and palaces with glorious architecture. Esfahan, as their second capital after Qazvin, has unforgettable historical landscapes to offer. In this free walking tour, we visit the second largest square in the world called Naqsh-e Jahan, walk through its enormous area including the bazaar.
