Tour description

This tour will help you uncover the secrets of the Gobustan National Park and get acquainted with the amazing mud volcanoes. Gobustan Reserve is widely known for its rock engravings and monuments of primitive culture. Gobustan is very rich in archaeological monuments. The reserve has more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back between 5,000–40,000 years. The site also features the remains of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area during the period that followed the last Ice Age, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The second part of this tour is the visit of the amazing site, which is full of mud volcanoes. This site is renowned for its healing qualities. Note: The distance to Gobustan is 80 kilometers but going to mud volcanoes is extra 10 kilometers. Additionally, I would like to let you know that the road condition to the mud volcanoes is not that good List of places: 1) Gobustan museum 2) Gobustan rock painting 3) Mud volcanoes 4) Bibi Heybet Mosque 0.5L still water is provided but taxi and tickets (10AZN per person) are not included in to the tour plan. Sedan car (for 3 people maximum) is 60 AZN Minivan (for 6 people maximum) is 100 AZN
