I'm a well travelled guy born in Spain, I have lived in UK, Ireland and USA, and hitched rides across the World. Now I am living and working as a tour guide in France since 2011, and keeping on travelling in my days off. I love meeting people and learning from others and their cultures, I am open minded and enthusiastic about life, I am always willing to help out and make new friends. I speak English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and a bit of Italian.

About the Tour

The tour will start outside the Burger King, on the most famous avenue LA CANEBIERE, with an introduction to the city's history and all the sites that we are going to see on the way.

The first stop will be the ancient ruins left by the Greeks and Romans at the JARDIN DES VESTIGES, the original port. From here we'll head to the Old City Hall, where the Count of Monte Cristo was betrayed by his best friend.

Afterwards, we'll walk to the oldest french neighborhood of LE PANIER, discovering the narrow and charming streets of this village like a district, where Napoleon Bonaparte had an apartment. Here we will discover LA VIELLE CHARITE an old hospice and spectacular monument, nowadays a museum and poetry school

After that we'll walk down to the Cathedral LA MAJOR, the largest monumental church of the city, which is next to the MUCEM, a place with amazing architecture and the only national museum outside of Paris dedicated to the Mediterranean culture, and connected to the FORT DE SAINT JEAN.

We'll also take a walk around the impressive walls and the beautiful views of the Mediterranean coast. We will enter to the Old Port, Vieux Port, heart of Marseille and meeting place of locals and nomads from all times.

The final stop will be the Vieux Port square, where a huge selfie photo together await for us, and wish each other a safe voyage.

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: I will be outside the Burger King, wearing a hat and a guru's sign
