Tour description

Ready to discover the city of Hurghada, a jewel of the Red Sea, with a good walk around the beautiful city of Hurghada, join me on an enchanting stroll through the city as we visit some of the major sights that you really shouldn’t miss, with Hurghada guide from the most local point of view.

We will meet at Al sheraton street close to McDonald’s .

After getting to know each other, we will move to new Sheraton Road parallel to the sea, it’s where local life and tourist life melt together and then El Mamsha a long pedestrian promenade where the bulk of Hurghada’s hotels, restaurants ,bars and shops then Hurghada Marina Boulevard one of the city's major dining destinations enjoy the atmosphere and the last rays of the sun over the Egyptian landscape. It’s really beautiful when the sun goes down in the Red Sea!

The next stop El Mina Mosque Close to Hurghada Marina The magnificent mosque is located on the waterfront and is decorated with white marble and beautiful architectural carvings. Then moving into El Dahar In the Old Town of Hurghada, This old area is filled with narrow streets, old buildings, and colorful shops. The bazaar is brought to life every day from around noon to late evening where we will find Coptic Cathedral of Saint Shenouda It appears to be relatively modest from the outside. However, inside, the architecture is intricate and simply astounding, featured primarily on the stained-glass windows and the painted ceilings and interesting than just next to it is Koshary El Tahrir where we going to try the famous traditional dish in Egypt koshary the last thing drinking cane juice at the el Dahar Square.

"We recently joined a walking tour in Hurghada guided by Lily, and it was an exceptional experience. Lily was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, making the tour informative and fun. We explored local markets, picturesque streets, and the coastline, learning about the history and culture of Hurghada. Lily's insights into local life and traditions added depth to the tour. We also took public transport, which was convenient and gave us a sense of daily life in Hurghada. The tour was well-paced and covered a great blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning traveler, I highly recommend this walking tour!"

Lily was an excellent guide and was very friendly and informative .Her command of English was excellent which allowed for a greater depth of conversation. .She was responsive to all my questions and gave good insight into life in Hurgada .I especially enjoyed the trip to Dohar which gave us insight into the life for the locals in that area.I also enjoyed the visit to the Coptic church complete with police guard outside and also sampling the local food .She took into account one of our party being vegan and made adjustments accordingly .
